How are you? We are so glad you are considering the Atlanta English Institute (AEI)!
Founded in 1993, AEI provides the finest in ESL and Test Preparation instruction. The school is accredited by both U.S. national and international organizations, and is certified by the U.S. government to enroll non-immigrant students, and authorized by ETS to facilitate as an iBT TOEFL Test Center.
From the start, our school has sought to honor the Lord. That is still at the heart of our endeavor. What this means for you, the student, is that in everything we do, our desire is to be the best: to deliver the best instruction, the best resources, the best counseling, and the best environment.
Students at AEI come from all over the world and from all walks of life. Some have advanced degrees; others are in college or have just graduated. Some are high school students. Many are already professionals in their home countries. In any case, they all have a desire to master English.
Our faculty are highly qualified. All are required to have a relevant undergraduate degree and ESL teaching experience. More than half have an advanced degree or ESL certification.
The school is fully equipped with the latest in computer software. We have a language/computer lab, a complete library, and dedicated student computers.
AEI offers many programs and courses. Students from overseas normally enroll in our Intensive English Program, which is seven levels, eight weeks each. Other ESL programs and courses include Business English, our ESL Youth Program, and Mastery English. After completing the Intensive English Program, many students continue in Mastery English or Mastery Test Preparation. AEI's Test Preparation courses include TOEFL, SAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and many others.
Our class size is limited to 9 students. Each session students normally take one field trip to a local event or cultural site.
For those coming from overseas, Atlanta is the cultural and economic center of the Southeast. The area has many recreational, sporting, and cultural attractions. These include major sporting clubs (e.g. baseball and football) as well as museums, theaters, and parks. (Atlanta hosted the Summer Olympics in 1996.) Atlanta is a big city; however, it has not lost its southern charm or small-city roots.
If you decide to come to AEI, we hope when you leave you will have been impressed with your education. More than this, we hope you will have been nurtured and challenged to lay hold of your dreams. Our interest, if you will allow us, is not just in your education, but with your whole life.
Although our school has been accredited by two of the highest level accreditation agencies, we are still climbing. Our eyes are on the summit. We are in the process of building a world-class institution, second to none. If you wish to climb to the top of the mountain… if you are looking to be inspired… then I sincerely invite you to join us.
Through AEI's network of associates, we can help students obtain F-1 visas for study in the U.S. or make a change of status if already in the U.S. In addition, if you need assistance with accommodations, AEI can help you find the right housing option. Possibilities include home stay, extended stay, or apartments.
Please contact the school or one of our associates for further information. We look forward to serving you!
